The women’s ministry at New Covenant, under the headship and covering of our pastor and elders, is based on the scriptures found in Titus 2:3-5: “Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips, nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, that they may encourage the younger women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be dishonored.”

It is our earnest desire to be luminaries and reflect the majesty and glory of our sovereign God by fulfilling our God given roles as women and women-in-training. It is our great joy and privilege to serve all women of NCF both young and old, single and married.

The Titus 2 ministry is comprised of two teams of women: a leadership team and ministry team. The leadership team has a long-term passion to serve God by serving the women of NCF. These women seek God regularly for the overall vision and direction for the Titus 2 ministry. These are women of discernment, wisdom and whose heart is to complement and support the larger ministry of the Pastor and elders. The Ministry team includes women who have a passion to be the hands and feet of Christ by actively serving and ministering to the women of NCF. These women are committed, with submissive spirits, to know the heartbeat of the women within their perspective spheres of influence and serve them as Christ.

Both teams have the character of humility, the mindset of service and the heart of sacrifice. The means by which the Titus 2 ministry seeks to fulfill it’s role to this local body of Christ is through teaching, training, equipping and encouraging the women of God to be women who know the truth of God’s word, how to apply it, and how to live as women in our culture today. We offer these avenues listed below as the tools by which to accomplish our ministry.

Bible Study

Knowing God’s word is key. Being students of His word as women is vital in our culture today. We seek to be women who are not infants tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching (Eph.4:14). We offer a regular diet of Bible studies to the women of NCF. If you are interested in what we are currently offering give our church office a call!

Mentoring

Mentoring is a lifestyle not a program. We have newly implemented this means of passing on Biblical womanhood from one generation to the next. What is mentoring you might ask? Mentoring is intentionally building one on one, female relationships around God’s word for the purpose of passing on a legacy of Biblical Womanhood and femininity so as to reflect God’s glory to a lost world and adorn the gospel with our lives as outlined in Titus 2.

Retreats and Seminars

These are special events that change from year to year. They are designed for the purpose of getting away and having concentrated times of teaching and worship. These times vary from one-day seminars to weekend retreats.

Girl’s Retreat

These retreats are for young women in training from the age of 13 to college. These four days are spent in intense times of teaching, worship and fun. Book list: A list of recommended reading on a variety of topics is available upon request. Most of these books speak directly to women. We have compiled this list to assist those interested in diving deeper, and as a resource for the women within our body who find themselves in need of good biblical wisdom.
